Vibrating mill
The crushing time is 1/10 to 1/20 shorter than that of a rotary ball mill.
Broadly speaking, it belongs to the category of ball mills, but instead of rotating a drum (grinding cylinder) with grinding media inserted, it is a device that vibrates the drum to move the media inside. The centrifugal effect generated by the rotation of an unbalanced weight fixed to the shaft causes the entire spring to undergo high-speed circular vibration, and this vibrational energy is transmitted to the media in the drum. As a result of the simultaneous actions of intense impacts and friction between the media and the inner wall of the drum, as well as between the media themselves, the raw materials are finely ground in a short period of time.
