Hydraulic Fixed Caliper Disc Brake The braking force is generated by the piston built into the caliper pressing the lining against the disc. Since there are no sliding parts exposed to the outside, it can be used in off-road and harsh environments. Hydraulic Sliding Caliper Disc Brake The braking force is generated through the piston from one direction, and the force is created by the sliding of the lining on the operating side against the disc to the lining on the opposite side. By placing the piston side inside the disc, it becomes easier to design it within the rim. Hydromechanical Sliding Caliper Brake This brake provides not only service brake functionality but also parking brake functionality.
