Technical Introduction: "Forging"
This is an introduction to Matsui Manufacturing's technology "forging."
Forging is a processing method that involves applying impact and pressure to metal to deform it into the desired shape. Matsui Manufacturing specializes in hot forging of non-ferrous metals. Heated materials are placed into a mold and pressed using a forging press machine to shape the product. After forming, the products have excess material at the joint of the mold, known as burrs. Therefore, in a secondary process, trimming presses and shot blasting are used for finishing treatment of the products. ■ Hot Forging of Non-Ferrous Metals - By hammering heated metal, the material becomes dense and uniform, allowing for the creation of high-strength products. - It is possible to create stable product shapes with less material. ⇒ This leads to reduced processing time and lower material costs. *For more details, please download the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
