[Bepop Implementation Case] Daikin Industries, Ltd.

Revising safety signage from the ground up! By listening to the opinions of foreign workers, communication has also deepened.

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "Bepop" at Daikin Industries, Ltd.'s Shiga Plant. At this plant, efforts to promote safety and health activities are conducted at the site level through voluntary discussions held once a month in chief meetings, with a focus on the lack of standardized safety signage. The devised stop sign safety display was created considering that the manufacturing department employs foreign workers from five different countries, including technical interns, and features easily recognizable pictograms along with compliance information in multiple languages. [Case Overview] ■Before - Safety signage was not standardized. - Instances of inappropriate placement and excessive signage were observed. ■After - Developed safety signage that is easily recognizable, including English text. - The wording was clarified with softer expressions to effectively communicate with visitors. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
