[Bepop Implementation Case] Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd.
Continuously challenge ourselves with new activities to maintain a record of zero accidents! We are also focusing on preventing falls.
We would like to introduce a case where "Bepop," which we handle, was implemented at the Advanced Materials Development Laboratory of Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. At this laboratory, under the common fundamental principle of the company to "prioritize safety above all," they have been consistently engaged in diligent safety and health activities. Additionally, they have undertaken various initiatives, such as unifying previously disparate signs and labels to create detailed guidelines with photos, installing KY point cards at work locations, and displaying protective equipment to prevent human errors. [Case Overview] ■ Before: The collection points for "metal scraps" and "wire scraps" were adjacent and used the same color drums, leading to frequent sorting mistakes. ■ After - Utilized photos to make it easily recognizable at a glance. - Color-coded the background for each type and standardized the wall and drum labels. - Used magnetic sheets to allow for easy replacement during drum changes. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
