"Techtron PPS" is a material made from extruded linear polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin, with a continuous use temperature of 220°C. It is a thermoplastic super engineering plastic that combines excellent chemical resistance and dimensional stability, second only to polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). One of its features is that it is relatively inexpensive compared to other super engineering plastics. It is suitable for parts in semiconductor and LCD manufacturing equipment, inspection equipment, bio, medical, and food-related analyzers and measuring instruments, as well as parts for food processing machinery.
