Recreating disaster scenarios in a virtual space (VR). By experiencing an accident where a shoulder slips during buried piping work, it enhances sensitivity to danger and contributes to the prevention of work-related accidents.
Participants will simulate the precautions and dangers of working on a slope from both the perspective of those involved and an overarching viewpoint. They will experience an accident where the slope collapses when staff are passed from the upper worker to measure the excavation depth. The experience will include accidents from the viewpoints of both the workers inside the excavation and those working above it. This content is not compatible with a 3-axis VR simulator. It is designed for participants to move around actively.
