Enhancing Safety Awareness! VR Safety Experience Education "Accidents Caused by Walking While Using a Smartphone"
Reproducing disaster scenarios in a virtual space (VR). By experiencing accidents such as falls while using a workbench, it enhances sensitivity to danger and contributes to the prevention of workplace accidents.
We have released a content titled "Accidents Caused by Walking While Using a Smartphone" as a collaborative development with students from Shizuoka Institute of Science and Technology, as part of our VR safety experiential education subscription content lineup. "Walking while using a smartphone" can lead to a lack of attention to the surroundings, resulting in falls while walking or collisions with other pedestrians, which can cause injuries or accidents. There is also a risk of falling from stairs or train platforms, as well as traffic accidents caused by suddenly stepping into the road. In this content, users can learn about the dangers of walking while using a smartphone through three scenarios: 1. A fall accident from stairs 2. Ignoring traffic signals and colliding with a vehicle 3. Falling from a train platform and coming into contact with a train
