Mitsubishi Gas Chemical's "ALTESTER" is a polyester resin that is heat-resistant, transparent, and safe for health. We would like to introduce three series. "S Series" - Heat resistance up to 95°C - Relatively high elastic modulus, allowing for rigidity and stiffness in thin or small containers and molded products - Can be mixed transparently with various polyesters such as polycarbonate, PET, PET-G, and PBT, controlling various physical properties such as heat resistance, refractive index, crystallinity, and moldability - High melt strength, can also be used as a foaming agent "SN Series" - Heat resistance up to 110°C - Can be mixed transparently due to matching the refractive index with PET, usable as a modifier. Recyclable - Has UV absorption properties, can be used as a UV absorber. ALTESTER "S Series" - The basic grades are S2000, S3000, and S4500. - Due to its relatively high elasticity, it can provide rigidity and strength to thin/thin containers and molded products. - It can be mixed transparently with various polyesters such as polycarbonate, PET, PET-G, and PBT, and can be used as a modifier to control various physical properties such as heat resistance, refractive index, and crystallinity. It can also be used as a material to improve moldability, such as fluidity. - It has high melt strength and can also be used as a foaming agent. ALTESTER "SN Series" - It has a heat resistance performance of up to 110°C, allowing it to be used in high-temperature environments. - Since it matches the refractive index of PET, it can be mixed transparently, improving the heat resistance of PET, and it is also recyclable. - It has UV absorption properties, allowing it to be used as a UV absorber, which can suppress mold contamination during molding and improve production efficiency. ALTESTER New Grade "SH Grade" - It combines high heat resistance, high transparency, and impact resistance, and is compatible with various molding methods such as extrusion, injection, and blow molding. - It is currently preparing to obtain safety and health certification.

<Shaping> Various shaping methods such as extrusion, injection, blow molding, and foaming are possible. (Shaping temperature: 200–250°C) <Thermoforming> Pressure air vacuum forming, stretching, and heat sealing can be performed. It excels in deep drawing and formability. <Mechanical Processing> Processing such as cutting, punching, and cold bending can be done without whitening. It is a material that does not easily produce fuzz on the cross-section. <Surface Treatment> Vacuum deposition, sputtering, printing, and coating are possible. <Hard Coating> Hardness and scratch resistance can be improved. It is less likely to produce interference fringes and does not compromise design aesthetics. <Blending> It can be blended transparently with polyester and polycarbonate and used as a modifier. PET: ALTESTER20 is easily compatible and can modify crystallinity, etc. PC: ALTESTER30 and 45 are easily compatible and can modify moldability, refractive index, etc.
