Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Togakushi, Nagano Prefecture; President: Kazuaki Ikeda) will begin offering its software RIP*1 "RasterLink8" for our inkjet printers starting in October*2. *1. Raster Image Processor; software that processes design data to match the printer. *2. We plan to provide a software authentication code upon purchase of the printer products. We have consistently developed and provided the technologies that make up printing, including ink, printers, and the software that controls them. Even printers with high productivity can only contribute to our customers' business results when their performance is fully utilized. Additionally, inks with a rich color gamut can only achieve the intended expression when their characteristics are properly harnessed. The "RasterLink8" that we will start offering is designed to draw out the productivity and expressive power of Mimaki's printers and inks, while also supporting on-site work efficiency and color management. It is software that enables customers to utilize the power of their printers more smoothly.
