Start of trial production and mass production of tow prepreg!!
Samsung Industrial Co., Ltd. will begin the prototyping and mass production of Tow Prepreg!! Tow Prepreg is a primary processed product made by impregnating carbon or glass fibers with resin, heating it, and winding it onto a paper tube in a semi-cured state. After that, it undergoes conventional filament winding (FW) molding to form a pipe shape. The advantages include obtaining higher physical properties such as high heat resistance, high strength, and high toughness compared to conventional FW molded products. *Typical applications include aerospace (M5 rocket fuel tanks, boosters) and automotive (hydrogen fuel vehicle CFRP tanks). 1. Tow Prepreg Contract Prototyping to Mass Production We will respond to prototyping requests for Tow Prepreg using the fibers and resins of your choice. Of course, we also cover mass production. We can also accommodate supplied materials. 2. Tow Prepreg Sales Specifications of TP listed in the catalog are available for immediate sale. Custom orders can also be made to meet other requests. 3.
