Intermediate material "Tow Preg Preg"

It is possible to mold high-quality CFRP and GFRP! Intermediate materials that maintain a state of adhesion.

"Tow Prepreg" is an intermediate material that maintains a state of B-stage (partially cured) tackiness by bundling fine carbon fibers or glass fibers, referred to as "tow," and impregnating them with resin before heating. By using TP for dry FW molding, it becomes possible to mold high-quality CFRP and GFRP with uniform resin content, high heat resistance, high toughness, and high strength, compared to conventional FW molding. 【Features】 - An intermediate material that maintains a state of B-stage tackiness - Uniform resin content (R.C.) compared to conventional FW molding (wet process) - Capable of molding high-quality CFRP and GFRP with characteristics such as high heat resistance, high toughness, and high strength *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information

**Production Method** ■ Unwind glass fibers or carbon fibers from a bobbin ■ The unwound fibers are impregnated with resin diluted with organic solvent in a resin bath ■ The fibers pass through a hot air heating furnace to evaporate the solvent, maintaining the adhesive properties in the B-stage (resin is semi-dry) ■ Finally, the fibers are wound onto a paper tube to complete the tow prepreg bobbin *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
