Solvent-free tow prepreg with gas barrier properties
Perfect for molding high-pressure hydrogen tanks for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles!!
Tow prepreg is an intermediate material in which resin is impregnated into tows (bundles) of carbon fibers and is primarily used for high-pressure hydrogen tanks for fuel cell vehicles and reinforcement of motor rotors. The feature of this product is that it is a tow prepreg impregnated with a special epoxy resin that has gas barrier properties, and it is designed for the Type.5 (linerless) tanks that have been under development in recent years. In addition to hydrogen tanks, it is expected to be used in hydrogen stations and water electrolysis devices by combining this resin with glass fibers and other materials.
