The PS-420 is an ultrasonic transmission-type web edge detector. It is suitable for detecting transparent objects as it is not affected by the web's transparency, color, or pattern. It is used in combination with the Q-series control panel and drive to control web wandering. By detecting changes in airborne ultrasound, it reliably detects the edges of the web without being influenced by the color, pattern, or transparency of various webs. The material of the mounting shaft differs from that of the PS-400.
