Equipped with safety features! Attention-grabbing safety fence-less UR dedicated running axis [Video now available]
Equipped with noteworthy safety features! The UR mobile axis allows humans and robots to work together, balancing "safety" and "productivity" in the production environment!
Thomson has launched its first collaboration with Universal Robots, a collaborative robot manufacturer, introducing the MovoTrak 7-axis (travel axis). This product is a travel axis designed specifically for UR robots, featuring two safety functions! The paddle stop function detects contact with just "13N" through a built-in load cell paddle, ensuring safe stopping. With high durability and rigidity, this travel axis maximizes productivity while balancing "productivity" and "safety." 【Features】 ■ Safe stop through two contact detections ■ Sensitivity and speed settings can be adjusted via the teaching pendant, with safety stop similar to six axes ■ Manual movement and linear waypoint setting through FreeDrive ■ Smooth integration with other URCaps ■ Maintains high moment load and rigidity even when the robot arm is fully extended ■ Maximum stroke can be prototyped up to 10m Compatible with all UR series products, and installation direction is flexible (horizontal, wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted, etc.) *Miwa Co., Ltd. is the official distributor of Thomson in Japan.
