Thomson has released the MovoTrak 7-axis (travel axis) specifically for ABB, a collaborative robot manufacturer. MovoTrak is the first certified 7-axis (travel axis) in the ABB Robotics partner ecosystem! It can be operated with a FlexPendant and ensures safety with two collision detection features: 1. Paddle stop 2. Safety stop with collision detection MovoTrak is a plug-and-play system that can be quickly and easily implemented into robot functions, allowing for horizontal movement of up to 10m and significantly improving productivity. The 7-axis, compatible with ABB GoFa collaborative robots ranging from 5kg to 12kg, offers flexible mounting options and features a dual linear unit design that achieves maximum moment load and rigidity. It uses a FlexPendant with 7-axis sensitivity adjustment. Installation orientations: flat, vertical, wall-mounted, suspended from the ceiling.
