Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has manufactured and delivered a 3000T inline forging press, a 9.1T manipulator, and various material handling equipment to a U.S. specialty steel manufacturer. This equipment will improve the internal quality of materials and enhance yield rates.

In October, we exhibited bulletproof protective gear at the Counter-Terrorism Special Equipment Exhibition held at Tokyo Big Sight. Our booth featured items such as our developed mobile bulletproof shield and a bulletproof shelter (bunker) that we have a licensing agreement with the U.S. company DDM.

The vibration isolation device for the 1600AK type guillotine press supplied by Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery consists of a vibration isolation device frame (approximately 51 tons), 38 sets of single-unit vibration isolation devices (38 coil springs), 11 sets of double-unit vibration isolation devices (22 coil springs), and 16 sets of oil dampers, weighing and numbering more than twice that of conventional guillotine presses.

In July, the "MF-Tokyo 2013 Press, Sheet Metal, and Forming Exhibition" was held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Big Sight), and our company participated as an exhibitor. This time, we also announced new news about the "MRB-3000 ring rolling mill with the world's highest output class" and the commencement of operation of the in-house test machine for the "φ1000 class ring rolling mill" at our Nagasaki headquarters factory.

Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has recently manufactured and delivered the MRB-3000 ring rolling mill, which is primarily used for shaping aircraft rings and has one of the largest rolling forces in the world.

Our company has manufactured and shipped spuds (40 meters in length) for grab dredgers and a shear (a tower for raising and lowering the spuds).

Our company participated in the "2013 NEW Environmental Exhibition" held from May 21 this year. This year, we particularly announced new products in instrumentation equipment, including a waterproof axle weight gauge (PT-X11 series), a wireless unit for axle weight gauges, and a tension meter (tentative name). Additionally, we promoted link conveyors, magnetic separators, vibration isolation devices, and environmental equipment, attracting a large number of visitors.

Our company exhibited at the "Manufacturing Expo 2013" held in Bangkok, Thailand in June, and continued to exhibit at the "MTA Vietnam 2013" held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in July, promoting our forging machinery products.

In August 2020, Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery delivered a 1500T forging press (two-column pull-down type) to a domestic forging manufacturer. The customer introduced this product to improve production efficiency and eliminate hazardous work, transitioning from an existing air drop hammer. This case provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the feasibility of switching from a hammer to a press machine!

In June of this year, our company delivered a non-ferrous metal sorting system for recycling companies. This system sorts and recovers iron using a magnetic separator from crushed materials, and sorts non-ferrous metals using a non-ferrous metal sorting machine. It also includes a color sorting machine that sorts non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass by item. We have received high praise from our customers regarding the metal sorting results after the plant began operation.

In July 2020, we received a special award from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. for our contribution to business development through cooperation in the modification of special vehicles and the stable supply of alternative materials by developing new business partners. In the modification of special vehicles, we undertook domestic specification modifications, faced various challenges, and overcame difficult situations with meticulous and dedicated responses, which also helped recover from delays in delivery. Our efforts were highly praised by the Ministry of Defense.

In August 2020, we exhibited the magnetic separator manufactured by Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery at the China Environmental Expo held in Shanghai, China. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to participate from our headquarters, but we exhibited primarily through our group company, Shanghai Lingduan Machinery Co., Ltd., and received many visitors at our booth!

In September 2020, we shipped our ring mill to domestic forging manufacturers. The ring mill introduced this time is primarily automated, contributing to a reduction in dependence on operator skill levels, an improvement in work efficiency, and the uniformity of product dimensions!

In October, we shipped tanks for oil tank water immersion measures to domestic special steel manufacturers. Due to the arrival of two typhoons, we were forced to change the manufacturing process, but as a result, we were able to ensure both quality and delivery time!

In March of this year, we delivered the MRB-600 ring mill to domestic forging plants. The ring mill delivered this time is equipped with an automatic rolling control system that reduces dependence on the operator's skill level. Additionally, at the request of the customer, it includes a ring discharge device that transports the rings to the conveyor in conjunction with the completion of rolling, which is expected to reduce the operator's workload and improve work efficiency!
