Exhibited at MF-Tokyo 2017
In July, the "MF-Tokyo 2017 Press, Sheet Metal, and Forming Exhibition" was held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Big Sight), and our company also participated. This time, we exhibited with a booth that incorporated decorations, and in addition to video presentations and display panels, we promoted our products using catalogs from our company and our customers.

Continuous manufacturing and shipping of plate heat exchangers.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery shipped two plate heat exchangers (left photo: approximately 90 tons, right photo: approximately 180 tons) consecutively in June and September. We will continue to strive for further quality improvement to maintain the trust of our customers.

Our company is engaged in the production of ultra-high-pressure double pipes. This product is used in ultra-high-pressure equipment during the production process of petrochemical plant products.

Manufacture and delivery of 1000T wasteland press.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has manufactured and delivered a low-noise 1000T press for domestic forging manufacturers, aimed at the rough production of ring products. Due to its low noise level, it allows for conversations near the equipment even during operation, earning high praise from customers.

Received an Excellence Award from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Conducted a factory tour for the "Special Vehicle Division" of the Mitsubishi Association.
Last year, our company received an Excellence Award from the head of the Special Vehicles Division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, citing "excellence in technology, price, quality, and delivery" in the production of special vehicle parts. In connection with this, as part of the activities of the Mitsubishi Association, an excellent factory tour of the "Special Vehicle Division" was held at our company in September.

The Japan Society for Plastic Processing held a "Technical Discussion Meeting and Factory Tour."
The "98th Technical Discussion Meeting and Factory Tour" of the Japan Society for Plastic Processing, Kyushu Branch, was held at our company in June. The theme for this event was "Research Trends and Future Prospects in Ring Rolling," and three presentations were made, including one from our company on "Efforts in Numerical Analysis of Ring Rolling." Following that, a tour of our factory was also conducted.

Manufacture and deliver jack embedding fittings for buried boxes.
Our company has manufactured jack embedding fittings for submerged caissons (iron boxes for underwater tunnels) in the marine equipment field. We supplied two types of jacks: support jacks for height adjustment and connecting jacks to link multiple submerged caissons together on the seabed.

Continuing to manufacture and deliver vibration control devices for overseas markets such as India and Thailand.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has manufactured and delivered three types of vibration isolation devices for forging presses with different specifications for India. Since the installation will be carried out by the customer, the vibration isolation device is composed of a vibration frame, coil springs, and viscous dampers, aiming to simplify the installation work and improve safety. The customer has given high praise for the fact that the installation work was completed without issues in a short period. Additionally, we have also manufactured and delivered a large-class vibration isolation device for screw presses for Thailand.

Commercialization of a high-performance "magnet rotor" for aluminum sorting machines.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has developed a high-performance "magnet rotor" for aluminum sorting machines. This magnet rotor achieves an aluminum recovery rate of over 95%, realizing both high performance and low cost. To enhance the performance of aluminum sorting machines, customers can replace just the magnet rotor without having to purchase the entire equipment set, which minimizes their burden and is expected to expand the scale of the upgrade market.

Manufacture and delivery of a 1000T blanking press.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has manufactured and delivered a 1000T blanking press. This press is for rough manufacturing of 800φ ring mills and is expected to play a central role in the customer's first automation line. Currently, while full-scale production is underway, our company is also cooperating in solving challenges towards mass production targets.

Exhibited at the Anti-Terrorism Special Equipment Exhibition '17
In October, we exhibited at the Anti-Terrorism Special Equipment Exhibition '17 held at Tokyo Big Sight. This time, we showcased a newly designed modular bulletproof wall and a larger mobile bulletproof shield with surveillance windows, which received positive feedback from attendees. We will continue to strive for the development of our products and to connect with new projects.

Manufacturing and delivery of the upper part of the converter for steelmaking companies.
As part of our aging infrastructure renewal project in the steel sector, we manufactured and delivered two converter upper bodies weighing approximately 70 tons each.

Delivery of 500T tram moving press.
We have delivered a 500-ton ram moving press. This equipment features a main cylinder with a maximum pressing capacity of 500 tons and the ability for the ram head to rotate 360°, allowing it to accommodate the correction processing of various shaped products. Additionally, it is equipped with useful utilities such as a pressure adjustment function, making it beneficial for distortion correction work and plate bending operations.

Manufacturing and delivering vacuum chambers for steelmaking companies.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery responded to the equipment renewal needs of steel manufacturers by manufacturing and delivering a vacuum chamber. This vacuum chamber is one of the largest pieces of equipment within a domestic vacuum induction melting furnace, which is used for refining metals under vacuum conditions. Since this equipment could not be transported by sea, it was disassembled to a size suitable for land transport and assembled on-site. The total weight of the manufactured equipment is approximately 500 tons. Additionally, as it is a vacuum device, helium leak tests were also conducted at the local welding points.

Delivery of combined equipment featuring magnetic separators and high-performance aluminum sorting machines.
Our company has delivered a combined machine consisting of a magnetic separator and a high-performance aluminum separator. This machine recovers ferromagnetic materials using the magnetic separator and then collects non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum with the high-performance aluminum separator. It plays an important role as a sorting facility that recovers valuable materials from waste within the processing line.

A new type of manipulator manufactured by Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery was introduced in the Steel News.
The new type of manipulator manufactured by Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has significantly improved productivity and enabled the production of larger products, while also enhancing the capability to handle high-value small items. The running acceleration has been improved by 35% compared to conventional models, and the rotational torque has increased by 25%, leading to improved stopping accuracy, which allows for a reduction in forging time and heating cycles. Additionally, by reducing the weight of the main body and miniaturizing the motor, power consumption has been reduced by approximately 23%, and the carrying capacity has also improved.

Developed a handling manipulator for ring mill automatic lines.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has developed the world's first "Handling Manipulator" as a manufacturer of forging presses and ring mills. By combining link mechanisms and hydraulic servos, it enables the automatic insertion of hot materials into the ring mill with high speed and precision. The carrying capacity of this developed machine is a maximum weight of 500 kg and a maximum outer diameter of 600 mm. Additionally, mutual communication between the ring mill and the handling manipulator via wireless LAN has realized a state-of-the-art operating specification using a tablet device. This allows us to offer a packaged solution for the automation of the ring mill, and we are confident that it will contribute to improving our customers' productivity.

Delivery and installation of a 180-ton receiving steel cart for the steel industry.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery delivered and installed a 180-ton receiving ladle car for the steel industry. This machine is designed to carry a ladle, receive molten iron that has been reduced in an electric furnace, perform primary refining at the LF facility, and then transport it to the RH degassing unit for secondary refining.

Assembly work of the low-pressure turbine, and shipment after internal movement within the factory.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery completed the assembly work for two low-pressure turbines and shipped them (via maritime transport). Additionally, in preparation for the shipment, work was carried out to move a module weighing a total of 270 tons a distance of 145 meters from the assembly factory to the shipping location.

Manufacturing of high-pressure vessels for Saudi Arabia (4 types/9 units) ASME U pressure resistance 320 kgf/cm²
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has recently shipped high-pressure vessels (4 types/9 units, ASME STAMP products) to Saudi Arabia. In the surface treatment of the machining department, areas exposed to high temperatures and pressures were treated with molybdenum disulfide to consider future maintenance. Additionally, pressure and airtightness tests were conducted under ultra-high pressure, with the pressure test performed at approximately 320 kgf/cm² and the airtightness test at approximately 420 kgf/cm².

Installation of vibration isolation device for 1.3T hammer completed.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery delivered a vibration-damping device for a 1.3T hammer, which combines our original "viscous damper" with a coil spring. This vibration-damping device features a carefully designed structure for the side stopper that secures the hammer body (anvil).

Presentation of technical papers and booth exhibition at the 19th International Forging Conference (IFM2014).
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery presented two technical papers and exhibited a booth at the 19th International Forging Conference held at Makuhari Messe. In the paper presentation, they introduced their achievements in realizing a fully automated process management system for inline press equipment delivered to a U.S. specialty steel manufacturer, capable of 24-hour continuous operation. Regarding ring rolling mills, they presented a paper on the MRB-3000 high-pressure ring rolling mill (maximum rolling force: vertical 1050T, horizontal 800T), which made it possible to roll large special alloys that were previously considered difficult to roll.

Delivery of two carts for scrap.
Our company has delivered two scrap carts (Model 1 and Model 2) to the electric furnace manufacturer. These carts are devices that transport buckets filled with scrap from the scrap storage yard to the electric furnace. To improve the accuracy of scrap measurement and to mitigate the impact during scrap loading, the carts are equipped with load cells and cushioning springs.

Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has received a bulk order for a total of 18 units of compression and combustion cylinders, turbine cylinders, and outer casings for gas turbines from overseas users.

The pulp steam dryer is completed.
Due to restrictions on land transportation, the "pulp steam dryer" that our company had been manufacturing and delivering in parts by equipment has been assembled and installed on-site by the customer. This device uses heated steam to convert the press cake (beet pulp) generated when extracting "sugar beets," the raw material for sugar production, into livestock fertilizer.

Shipping a 40m3 wide grab bucket.
Our company has shipped a wide grab bucket with a wider width compared to conventional models (capacity 40m3 (P.L), weight 88t, full opening width 5.6m). This bucket is designed to efficiently dredge thin layers of soil over a wide area, and to suppress the occurrence and spread of seawater pollution during dredging, it is equipped with a flap cover at the bottom, making it environmentally friendly.

Exhibited at the 2014 New Environment Exhibition.
This year's NEW Environment Exhibition showcased new products in instrumentation equipment, including the "Limiter Set" and "Tension Meter." The magnetic separator was displayed alongside a link conveyor, promoting a proposal for the combination of both products for recycling facilities and other plant factories. In environmental equipment, we exhibited "Biosolid Fuel" for the first time this year.
