Magnetic Separator: Improved Recovery Rate! Electromagnetic Drum-Type Magnetic Separator (Double Coil)
With a double coil design, we deliver unprecedented high performance!
What is an electromagnetic drum-type magnetic separator (double coil)? It is a drum-type magnetic separator that uses electromagnets. A typical electromagnetic drum-type magnetic separator combines electromagnets and permanent magnets, but this electromagnetic drum-type magnetic separator (double coil) uses electromagnets for both the main and auxiliary poles! What are the advantages of the electromagnetic drum-type magnetic separator (double coil)? - By constructing the entire magnetic circuit with electromagnets, magnetic force is increased! → It can recover magnetic materials that were difficult to attract with conventional drum magnetic separators. - Improved maintenance - Magnetic force can be adjusted → In the case of permanent magnets, it is not possible to adjust the strength of the magnetic force, but with this electromagnetic drum-type magnetic separator (double coil), our unique voltage control allows for stepless adjustment of the magnetic force.
basic information
Custom-made production is also possible. We can adjust the product size to fit existing equipment. *Please note that there are limitations on the sizes that can be produced, so feel free to inquire. 【What kind of company is Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery?】 Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery traces its origins back to the Taisho era as Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. Nagasaki Steel Works, and became an independent entity as Mitsubishi Steel Co., Ltd. Nagasaki Steel Works in 1942. In 1975, it was established by inheriting the industrial machinery and steel structure manufacturing division of the company. The technology of Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery is based on the expertise developed as a cast and forged steel manufacturer since the Mitsubishi Steel era. Supported by tradition and new technologies, the company continues its unique research and development and technical refinement, skillfully integrating engineering (design technology) and manufacturing (production technology) in a balanced manner, actively engaging in product development and business expansion.

Exhibition of our non-ferrous metal sorting machine at the China Environmental Expo.
In April, our company promoted our magnetic separator at the 20th China Environmental Expo held in China. This expo is the largest in Asia, with approximately 2,000 companies exhibiting from around the world. For this exhibition, we displayed a working model of our non-ferrous metal separator and conducted sample separation demonstrations to promote the performance of this equipment. We plan to participate in next year's exhibition as well, and in addition to the non-ferrous metal separator, we are planning to set up a demonstration unit of our highly regarded stainless steel separator in Japan for promotion.

Commercialization of a high-performance "magnet rotor" for aluminum sorting machines.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has developed a high-performance "magnet rotor" for aluminum sorting machines. This magnet rotor achieves an aluminum recovery rate of over 95%, realizing both high performance and low cost. To enhance the performance of aluminum sorting machines, customers can replace just the magnet rotor without having to purchase the entire equipment set, which minimizes their burden and is expected to expand the scale of the upgrade market.

Delivery of combined equipment featuring magnetic separators and high-performance aluminum sorting machines.
Our company has delivered a combined machine consisting of a magnetic separator and a high-performance aluminum separator. This machine recovers ferromagnetic materials using the magnetic separator and then collects non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum with the high-performance aluminum separator. It plays an important role as a sorting facility that recovers valuable materials from waste within the processing line.
