basic information
Since 1942, our company has accumulated extensive experience in forging technology for special steel as the former Mitsubishi Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Nagasaki Steel Works. On the other hand, we began manufacturing forging presses in collaboration with other companies, and now, including our unique technology developed rotary forging machines that produce forged rings, we have become one of the world's leading manufacturers of forging machines, providing equipment that can accommodate various fields such as forging, fire forging, and ring forging. Our hot free forging presses have a wide range of delivery records, from below 1000 tons to one of the largest in the world at 13,000 tons, and are used by many forging manufacturers. Additionally, we offer a variety of options and ancillary devices tailored to customer needs, including manipulators linked to forging presses, vibration isolation devices that consider all installation environments such as vibrations from forging operations and surrounding areas, stress monitoring devices that monitor stresses occurring in the press during operation to prevent excessive operation, and light mark systems that enable high-precision forging operations.

Delivered a 1500T forging press to a domestic forging manufacturer!
In August 2020, Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery delivered a 1500T forging press (two-column pull-down type) to a domestic forging manufacturer. The customer introduced this product to improve production efficiency and eliminate hazardous work, transitioning from an existing air drop hammer. This case provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the feasibility of switching from a hammer to a press machine!
