The Hallite 847 double lip wiper features a special venting function that constantly relieves pressure between the rod seal and the wiper. This prevents the wiper from popping out due to pressure without the need for an expensive drain port in the ground. The flap of the wiping lip also has a special function, covering the ground housing and preventing the trapping of water/slurry, which is common with conventional wipers.
