The single lip asymmetric piston seal features a precisely trimmed sealing lip, making it ideal for light and medium-duty applications!
Hallite 606 is designed to interfere with the grooves of the seal housing. The outer dynamic lip is shorter and is designed to be more robust to improve sealing performance and compression set characteristics compared to conventional symmetrical U-rings. When used in conjunction with a backup ring of appropriate thickness, it can also be used for heavy-duty applications. The sealing lip is cut at an angle to provide optimal sealing performance.
