An excellent pressure cushioning option for harsh applications, extending the lifespan and performance of sealing systems!
It protects the primary seal from shock pressure loads and high-frequency pressure spikes within the hydraulic system. While suppressing pressure spikes, it allows oil to pass through to the rod seal. Hallite 653 is a patented product (European Patent No. 0427554BI, U.S. Patent No. 5088747) that pumps pressure back into the system to prevent pressure buildup between the rod seal and the buffer seal. The 653 single-acting rod buffer seal is designed to be used in combination with high-performance rod seals such as Hallite 605 and 621.
