Swivel, a double-acting O-ring combination swivel seal designed to seal the inner diameter for rotating or oscillating applications!
The Hallite SSP rotary seal features one or two grooves on the inner circumference of the seal, enhancing sealing performance through an increased sealing lip, while retaining lubricating oil to reduce the surface contact area and minimize sliding friction. The special design of the fan-shaped inner diameter maximizes the contact area of the O-ring against the inner circumference of the sealing surface, preventing the seal from rotating within the groove. The standard SSP product has a pressure notch on the seal side, greatly improving the seal's responsiveness to pressure changes.
