OptiSeal JBR corrosion-resistant spring-loaded PTFE seal
A rod/piston seal compatible with the P-number grooves of JIS B2401, suitable for use in harsh environments. It features low friction and excellent heat and chemical resistance.
The Hallite OptiSeal JBR is a spring-loaded type seal for single pressure applications, compatible with the JIS B2401 P-type groove. It features a U-shaped seal jacket with a V-shaped corrosion-resistant metal spring integrated into its structure. When there is no load or at low pressure, the spring provides the necessary load to the seal lip, creating the appropriate contact surface pressure. As the operating pressure increases, the system pressure acts on the U-shaped area, influencing the sealing performance at high pressure. The standard material is a high-performance seal jacket made from PTFE (fluoropolymer).
