POK (polyketone) has superior mechanical and chemical properties compared to fluororesins, nylon, and POM, making it suitable for more demanding applications!
The backup rings for U-packing piston seals and rod seals demonstrate excellent performance in harsh applications with high pressure, high temperature, and frequent pressure spikes. POK (polyketone) is the only engineering plastic primarily composed of carbon that has a high degree of crystallinity and a dense crystalline structure. It is a highly differentiated thermoplastic engineering polymer with excellent chemical resistance, impact resistance, friction properties, and barrier characteristics.

General U-Packing <Main Features> - High tensile hardness (1.7 times that of nylon 6) - High impact strength over a wide temperature range (2.3 times that of nylon 6) - Excellent elasticity and recovery (about 2 times that of nylon 6) - Chemical resistance and hydrolysis stability - Low permeability/excellent barrier properties - Superior abrasion resistance (about 10 times that of fiberglass + nylon) - Water absorption rate of 0.5% (1/5 that of nylon) - Low friction (equivalent to bronze + PTFE, lower friction under high pressure) This is a backup ring manufactured by Petseals, handled by M.O.
