We will support the recovery from the earthquake disaster through a free radiation measurement service in the Fukushima and North Kanto regions. ◆ To the individuals and companies in the six prefectures (Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Ibaraki, and Chiba) that suffered particularly severe damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake. ◆ Duration and Cost We will provide this service free of charge until the end of June 2011. However, for on-site measurements, the actual costs for transportation and accommodation of the measurement personnel will be borne separately by you. ◆ Notes - There are movements to impose regulations on export cargo from Japan in the receiving countries. Additionally, this often arises based on requests from importers. We cannot determine whether the measurement results for exported goods meet the requirements of the receiving country or the importer, so we ask that you conduct sufficient prior verification yourself when making a request. - We may refrain from dispatching measurement personnel to areas with high levels of radiation contamination.
