A robotic cylinder has been adopted for the reagent dispensing section of the pharmaceutical inspection device. To prevent liquid dripping, after pushing the piston to dispense the liquid, the plunger is slightly retracted using pitch feeding (relative movement). Additionally, to avoid returning to the origin when the controller's power is turned off during an emergency stop, a simple absolute system is used. Previously, we manufactured this in-house, which took a lot of time for mechanical design and programming, but by using the robotic cylinder, we have been able to reduce man-hours.
