Current probe

Conductivity tests such as harness tests are definitely done at the FCC!

Fisher Custom Communications, Inc. (FCC) is a manufacturer of current probes and LISNs that apply and monitor current. "Current probes" are used in tests to evaluate noise resistance by applying current to cables and harnesses used in automobiles, electronic devices, and military products. They can be used in any application where high-frequency current measurement is required. The conductor carrying the measurement current is placed in the detection area of the probe, and the voltage output from the probe is measured with an RF detector to obtain the current value. By calibrating the probe, the measured voltage can be converted into current.
