Holt Company Insulated ARINC 429 Line Receiver HI-8460

The HI-8460/HI-8461 from Holt is an insulated single-line receiver equipped with lightning protection.

The HI-8460 and HI-8461 are insulated single ARINC 429 line receivers equipped with internal lightning protection circuits. This device provides 800V isolation between the line receiver and the logic interface. It is an ideal device for protecting the host interface or for systems that require different grounds. While the power supply and ground are isolated between the line receiver and the logic interface, the IC only requires one 3.3V power supply and ground, making the HI-8460 pins compatible with Holt's existing line receivers, HI-8450, HI-8591, and HI-8588. Therefore, this device offers a cost-effective solution for adding galvanic isolation to existing designs.
