The ComEth40xxe line features a highly integrated system-on-chip (SoC) from Marvell equipped with a programmable packet processor, providing complete backward compatibility with previous generation products, as well as a rich number of 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet ports, making it unique compared to other VME Ethernet switch products. The ComEth40xxe matrix, combined with an independent management processor, is controlled by the proven Interface Concept network management application, Switchware. Switchware supports a wide range of Ethernet protocols and features an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI). In addition to non-flash devices, the use of removable flash disks allows for the storage of switch configuration files and logs, providing users with flexibility and the ability to sanitize as needed.
