2D/3D time-resolved PIV system
It is possible to compare with simulation data, improving calculation accuracy and verifying measured values!
"2D/3D PIV" is a fluid analysis system that mixes tracers into transparent air or water, which are usually not visible to the naked eye, to visualize the flow field. From the resulting images, it is possible to perform quantitative analysis of flow direction and flow velocity. In 2D PIV, the behavior of tracer particles illuminated by a light sheet is captured with a single camera, measuring the two-dimensional velocity distribution within a plane. In stereo 3D PIV, a wide light sheet and two cameras are used. The two cameras create a parallax in the depth direction due to the difference in shooting angles, and this difference is utilized to calculate the velocity components in three axes. [Features] ■ Flow analysis of wind tunnel tests ■ Flow analysis of combustion fields ■ Flow analysis in microchannels (Micro PIV) ■ Velocity analysis of sprayed fine particles *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
