Markerless motion capture "Theia3D"
No markers needed, no special suit required, no post-processing necessary for body measurement! Simple preparation and operation allow for immediate measurement.
Theia3D is a markerless motion capture system developed for biomechanics research. It extracts the human body from video data captured by more than six cameras and automatically generates skeletal model data using rigid body tracking and inverse kinematics. There is no need for markers or specialized suits that were essential in traditional motion capture systems. You can wear regular clothing, and preparation time is minimal. Additionally, no specialized knowledge is required to operate the software, allowing anyone to easily perform human measurements. 【Features】 ■ Analyzable from video data captured by synchronized cameras (more than six). No specialized cameras required. ■ Supports analysis of only the upper body or lower body. ■ No limit on the number of people that can be analyzed. ■ Supports motion analysis software Visual3D. ■ Batch data processing functionality available.

★Batch Data Processing & C3D Data Output Theia3D allows for the processing of multiple data with a single button press. Additionally, only the necessary data can be obtained through batch processing*1. Measurement data can be output as video files overlaid on 3DView and 2D videos from each camera, while the results of inverse kinematics analysis can be output as C3D files. *1 A function that automatically performs repetitive processing when there are a large number of files to analyze.

★Import to motion analysis software Visual3D C3D files output from Theia3D can be imported into the motion analysis software Visual3D. It supports comparative display of multiple subjects' data and the output of various analysis result reports. Visual3D is software specialized in biomechanics for motion analysis and can be operated in conjunction with data measured by the MAC3D System.
-
★Supports FBX file export FBX files exported from Theia3D can be imported into game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine. Additionally, by retargeting motion data to CG models, they can also be utilized in digital content.
