"Hot stamping" is a thermal transfer technology that utilizes hot stamping foil, which is created by forming a coating layer of metal or other materials, to transfer metallic-looking letters, designs, and other elements onto non-transfer items through pressure and heat. It can decorate parts of flat or curved surfaces with metal foil, and it is possible to print on materials that are difficult to print using conventional methods, such as leather and polypropylene.
