To reduce maintenance, the spiral's rotation speed is designed to be low, and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) is used for the liner to minimize wear. Additionally, to enhance transport efficiency, multiple inserts can be attached to the spiral. This allows for a higher transport angle and the use of smaller conveyors.
