basic information
☆Definition of High-Pressure Gas (Article 2 of the Law) In this law, "high-pressure gas" refers to "gas" that has a gauge pressure of the following levels or higher: 1) Compressed gas with a gauge pressure of 1 MPa or higher at normal temperatures. Also, compressed gas that reaches 1 MPa or higher when the temperature is 35°C (excluding acetylene gas). 2) Acetylene gas with a gauge pressure of 0.2 MPa or higher at normal temperatures. Also, acetylene gas that reaches 0.2 MPa or higher when the temperature is 15°C. 3) Liquefied gas with a gauge pressure of 0.2 MPa or higher at normal temperatures. Also, liquefied gas that has a temperature of 35°C or lower when the pressure is 0.2 MPa or higher. 4) Liquefied hydrogen cyanide, liquefied bromomethane, and other liquefied gases specified by government ordinance that exceed 0 MPa at a temperature of 35°C (liquefied ethylene oxide).
