<Background of Introduction> The customer was operating an appearance inspection machine from another company, but due to the inconsistent speed of product transport, frequent misjudgments (classifying good products as defective) became a significant issue. Therefore, they consulted us about the production of a device that could operate more stably as part of their equipment update. <Suggested Proposal> After examining the current device, we determined that there was a fundamental problem in the process of supplying products to the inspection section. Consequently, we proposed a new device concept focused on improving the transport method. Additionally, we noticed issues with maintainability, so we also proposed a design aimed at enhancing the efficiency of maintenance tasks. <Effects After Implementation> With the introduction of the new device, misjudgments have been eliminated, and stable appearance inspections have been achieved. Furthermore, this has led to a reduction in labor in the inspection process and cost savings, earning high praise from the customer.
