The manufacturer of electric lifts for high-altitude work was using drive wheels and swivel casters from other companies for their mobile electric lifts for high-altitude work. As a solution from Blickle, the drive wheels (GSTN) made with the polyurethane elastomer tread "Blickle Softhane" were well-suited for this application. The features of this tread included comfort in operation and high grip, but at the request, wheels were used that had a gray tread that does not leave marks on the floor and a black painted finish on the wheel center for this lift. The GTH wheels, which have low rolling resistance, were designed with a smaller offset value to be incorporated into existing machine designs, and a location was provided for a directional restriction lock system that can be operated remotely by the operator. By using these wheels, it was demonstrated that the solution meets the aesthetic requirements of the company and is compatible with existing machine designs.
