Contract manufacturing and contract testing of spray-dried granules *Microparticle granule manufacturing testing
The two-fluid nozzle capable of targeting D50 < 10μm, which was considered difficult to manufacture, has started operation! It will be used for the development of applications such as ceramics, other electronic materials, and battery materials!
"Spray drying" is a technology that instantly dries a liquid by spraying it in a drying chamber to create fine droplets, utilizing the surface tension of water to produce spherical, flowable granules. We have now begun tests for spray drying and fine particle granule production using a two-fluid nozzle. The two-fluid nozzle creates fine mist-like droplets by simultaneously spraying compressed air and the liquid to be dried. Like other spraying methods such as disk and pressurized nozzles, it can produce spherical dried granules. A significant feature of the two-fluid nozzle is its ability to create granules with an average particle diameter of less than 10 μm. *We also support tests and production using conventional disk spraying! 【Other Topics】 <Relocation of Spray Dryer to Fukui Factory> The "OC-16 (Okawahara)" has been relocated from Osaka and is now operational! We will strengthen our efforts in producing a wide variety of small and medium quantities to reliably meet the increasing demand! <Contract Testing for Spray-Dried Powder> Please fill out the survey from the PDF download and contact us via email, and we will promptly provide you with a cost estimate for the tests. If you are in a hurry, you can also call us! *For more details, please download the materials or contact us.

Notice of Participation in the 8th Kansai Ceramics Japan Exhibition from May 17 (Wednesday) to May 19 (Friday), 2023.
Nichiwa Chemical will be exhibiting at the "8th Kansai Ceramics Japan" held at Intex Osaka. At our booth, we will introduce "contract manufacturing and testing of spray-dried granules." Invitation tickets can be obtained from the link below [Details & Application]. We sincerely look forward to your visit. 【About the Exhibited Products】 ■ Spray Drying with a Two-Fluid Nozzle – Microparticle Granule Manufacturing Test The two-fluid nozzle creates fine mist-like droplets by simultaneously spraying compressed air and the liquid to be dried. Similar to other spraying methods such as disc-type and pressurized nozzle types, it produces spherical dried granules. Recently, we have started contract testing in response to requests from customers involved in applications such as ceramics, electronic materials, battery materials, and cosmetics, who want to create spray-dried granules below 10 microns or around 5 microns, which cannot be achieved with disc spraying. ■ New Spray Dryer for Ceramics Installed at Fukui Factory! We have introduced the "FOC-20 (Okawara Kako Ki)" device with a maximum moisture evaporation capacity of 15 kg/h, and it has begun operation. We will continue to robustly advance small to medium quantities of various products to reliably meet the increasing demand!
