【Technical Data】PID Control - The Function of Gain (Parameters)
Ease of use is the biggest feature! What is PID control, which allows you to find the perfect control method just by adjusting parameters?\For precise control, choose Nippo!/
PID control refers to a control method used for applications such as temperature control. After setting a target value, it reads the current value with a sensor and automatically adjusts to get closer to the target value. For example, consider the issues with traditional on-off operation. A familiar example is the bimetallic electric kotatsu. In the on-off operation of the electric kotatsu, the temperature rises to 100% output until it reaches the target temperature, and then it drops to 0% when it exceeds the set temperature, causing the temperature to decrease. However, this often leads to overshooting or undershooting from the target temperature, resulting in a control outcome that oscillates and does not achieve ideal temperature regulation. While the simplicity of the structure allows for a cost-effective setup, these issues also exist. PID control can solve these problems. ▶ For those who want to learn more about "the mechanism and role of PID control," please refer to the [column article]. ▶ For those who want to learn more about "the function of gain (parameters)," please refer to [this document].
