When showing design proposals and color proofs to clients, there are times when they request to make the colors "brighter." When studying color, the three basic attributes of color—hue, saturation, and brightness—are learned. As can be inferred from the terms, understanding "to make it brighter" means to increase brightness. For the general public, "brighter" often means "more vivid," and in many cases, it is necessary to increase saturation rather than brightness. Additionally, "darker" should also be approached with caution.
