Self-fluxing alloy thermal spray material
The materials that can be sprayed by NCI are not limited to ceramics.
The materials that can be thermally sprayed by NCI are not limited to ceramics. For example, self-fluxing alloys. These are nickel or cobalt-based alloys containing more than 1.5% boron and silicon, which are re-melted in an atmosphere of about 1100°C after being thermally sprayed to create an alloy layer that forms a dense, pore-free coating that adheres to the base material. They are characterized by excellent wear resistance. For more details, please download the catalog.
basic information
【Features】 ○ Self-fluxing alloy thermal spray material ○ Material name: Ni-based self-fluxing alloy → Main components: Ni-Cr-B-Si → Coating characteristics: Excellent wear and corrosion resistance → Forms an alloy layer through re-melting at approximately 1,100℃, resulting in a dense, pore-free coating that is bonded to the substrate ○ Material name: Co-based self-fluxing alloy → Main components: Co-Ni-Cr-B-Si → Coating characteristics: Excellent wear and corrosion resistance → Forms an alloy layer through re-melting at approximately 1,100℃, resulting in a dense, pore-free coating that is bonded to the substrate → Used on martensitic stainless steel substrates ○ Material name: WC mixed self-fluxing alloy → Main components: WC-Co-SFA → Coating characteristics: Excellent wear resistance → Used in applications with more severe wear than the above self-fluxing alloys ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
