The CD Dryer is a conduction-heating type liquid dryer. It dries liquids through heat conduction from a heat source. It offers about twice the processing capacity of conventional drum dryers while taking up less space. ‥Features‥ - High Performance The liquid fed onto the surface of the disk forms a thin film, which concentrates/dries effectively due to excellent conductivity. This results in a high processing capacity per unit of heat transfer area. Additionally, dried material on the heat transfer surface is constantly scraped off by a scraper, ensuring stable high processing capacity. - Compact By using both sides of its thin disks as heat transfer surfaces, a large heat transfer area can be secured within a compact space. *Compared to double drum dryers, the installation area is about 40% smaller. - Energy Saving, High Efficiency The compact design minimizes heat loss, achieving a high energy efficiency of 80-85%. - Speedy The heat capacity of the disk in the heat transfer section is small, allowing even large machines to operate in about 5 minutes after steam input. - Process Reduction The CD Dryer dries liquid to powder, making significant reductions in upstream and downstream processes, such as concentration and grinding, possible. *For more details, please download the PDF catalog featuring usage examples and case studies, or contact us.*
