Gas venting casting
Utilizing the shape of the runner! Achieving gas venting in aluminum die casting!
As methods for improving the internal quality of aluminum die casting, vacuum casting, local pressure (squeeze) method, solidification casting method, and chill venting are known, but they are not universal. The reason for this is believed to be that gas, which is agitated and finely dispersed within the plunger sleeve, cannot be removed. Our company considered removing the gas in the plunger sleeve before it enters the cavity, utilizing the shape of the runner to first achieve separation of the molten metal and gas using the difference in specific gravity, and then implemented gas removal from the 'vent pin (ejector pin)', resulting in very good outcomes, confirming that our approach is correct. 【Features】 ■ Realization of gas removal from the vent pin ■ After gas removal, increasing the discharge rate reduces airflow resistance and improves gas removal efficiency *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
