"New Oil 30" is a dust control dusting agent that uses highly refined, safe liquid paraffin. Dust control products such as mops and mats capture dirt with their fiber parts, known as piles. When a dusting agent is applied to mops and mats, the dusting agent contained in the pile acts as an adhesive for dirt, retaining the dirt once it has been absorbed. Subsequently, as the dusting agent migrates to the absorbed dirt, the dirt works as part of the pile, leading to a snowball effect of dirt accumulation.
