Antistatic agent (prevention of dust and dirt adhesion on plastic and film products, etc.)

Prevents Dust and Dirt Adhesion on Plastics, Films, and Silicone Products!

What is Static Electricity? Static electricity occurs when electrons accumulate or become unevenly distributed on an insulating material due to friction or separation. This results in an electrostatic charge that can cause a momentary high-voltage discharge, leading to problems such as electric shock, malfunction or physical damage to precision devices, and even ignition. Charged surfaces also attract dust, dirt, and pollen through electrostatic forces, which can cause surface contamination. About Our Antistatic Agents Our antistatic agents incorporate ionic conductive materials—which act as electron carriers—to reduce the influence of humidity. Polymer-based types are also available. We provide customized formulations tailored to specific applications and operating conditions, ensuring optimal antistatic performance. Please feel free to contact us for consultation or product recommendations. Application Examples ・Optical components for LCD displays ・Packaging PET films ・PET films for paper-based laminate processing ・Offset rotary printing systems for commercial printing ・Synthetic fibers for spinning ・Foamed silicone rubber sheets …and more.

Applications/Examples of results

For Optical Components in LCD Displays 1.Caplone W-25 was applied using a sponge roller, providing the surface with antistatic and lubricating properties. Prevented dust adhesion and scratching during stacking, resulting in a significant improvement in product yield. 2.For Packaging PET Films Caplone L-50 was applied by mist spray. No adverse effects observed in subsequent offset printing or heat-sealing processes. 3.For PET Films Used in Paper-Based Laminate Processing Caplone L-353 was diluted with IPA and applied with a gravure roller. Improved conveyance properties. Exhibited excellent compatibility with primers and maintained good heat-sealing performance. 4.For Offset Rotary Printing in Commercial Printing Caplone B-200 was applied via silicone coater together with a silicone lubricant. Provided excellent slip properties and crack resistance on the spine area, improving sheet alignment in the sheeter section. 5.For Synthetic Fibers in Spinning Processes Caplone PF-30 was applied by spray coating. Prevented yarn breakage during spinning and improved production efficiency. 6.For Foamed Silicone Rubber Sheets Caplone F-50 was applied by spray coating. Enhanced release properties during sheet rewinding operations.
