The opening and closing of the suction valve and discharge valve are performed by the reciprocating motion of the plunger. The discharge valve operates more smoothly with the assistance of a spring. The liquid is continuously drawn in by the cylinder and reaches the homovalve. It is then homogenized as it passes through the gap between the homovalve and the homovalve seat before being discharged.
