**What is Eptsealer?** Eptsealer is a foam created through Nitto's unique foaming technology, featuring a semi-continuous and semi-independent foaming structure. In addition to sealing applications that leverage its foaming structure, it can be used for a wide range of purposes such as shock absorption and thermal insulation. Composed mainly of EPDM rubber, it possesses excellent properties among general-purpose rubbers, including heat resistance and chemical resistance (to acids and alkalis). **About the EH-2200 Series** The EH-2200 series is a standard sealing material of a semi-independent and semi-continuous type made from foamed EPDM rubber. It is a clean foam that does not contain sulfur, which is commonly used in rubber crosslinking and raises concerns about metal corrosion. By not using sulfur, it retains the properties of EPDM while reducing the risk of corrosion to metals (such as copper wires on electronic circuit boards). It can be used in high-sealing electronic devices that are becoming smaller, without corroding metals, for cushioning, soundproofing, and dustproofing applications.
