Two-layer dots: Two-layer dots are used for bonding ultra-thin fabrics. By using a thermosetting resin for the lower layer and hot melt for the upper layer, adhesion can be achieved without the adhesive bleeding through even with ultra-thin fabrics. (For apparel applications) Improvement of lamination process productivity: If adhesives were originally used for laminating multiple materials, pre-coating those materials with hot melt adhesive dots can reduce the adhesive application process. Furthermore, it is solvent-free and environmentally friendly. Adhesion of functional powders: By double dot-coating deodorants, equivalent deodorizing effects can be achieved with a smaller amount of additive compared to mixing.

Double Dot Coating A binder is applied in dot form on the substrate, powder is scattered, excess is removed, and then heated and dried to form two layers of dots. Single Dot Coating Thermoplastic resin powder is filled into an engraved roll, transferred onto the substrate, and then heated and melted to form dots of thermoplastic resin.
