**About the Slitting Evaluation Service** In recent years, the demand for the quality of the cut surfaces of slitting materials has increased, particularly concerning the chips, whiskers, and burrs generated from the cut surfaces, which adversely affect subsequent processes and have been highlighted for their impact on the yield and quality of the final product. Kyocera has introduced a slitter evaluation device to develop slitting conditions suitable for the shape of slitter knives and the diversifying materials to be cut.
